Walking into a gym for your first PT session can feel like a lot. Will everyone be watching? Will I know what I’m doing? Will it be too hard?
Honestly, that’s what I’m there for. Here’s exactly what happens, so there are no surprises.
Before your session
1. Fill in the health questionnaire. Before we train, I’ll ask you to complete a short PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) through my enquiry form. It covers your health, any injuries and your goals, so I can plan a session that’s safe and right for you.
2. Book your session. For now, booking is by email or Instagram message. Just tell me the days and times that suit you.
Finding us
Sessions are at Limitless 24/7, Unit 3, 35 Burghmuir Road, Stirling FK7 7PB. I’m an independent personal trainer working from Limitless, not a member of their staff.
Parking: there’s parking on site. When you arrive, pop your licence plate into the system inside the gym so you don’t get a parking charge. [check reason]
What to bring
- Comfortable clothes you can move in
- Trainers with a flat, stable sole
- A water bottle
- A towel
- Anything you’ve been told by a doctor or physio that I should know
What we’ll do
Your first session is about getting to know how you move and what you want. We’ll warm up, go through some key movements, and build a session around your goals and your level. You’ll leave knowing what we’re working towards and how we’ll get there.
No judgement, no shouting, no being thrown in at the deep end.
